About Solano ADU

Solano ADU was developed to help homeowners throughout the county build an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) and is a collaborative effort of all the cities in the county and Solano County, led by the Solano County Planning Collaborative. ADUs are a creative solution for urgently needed housing in our county, especially those at risk of not finding affordable housing options locally.

This website includes guidance for every step of an ADU project, from thinking about it to move-in. This work is supported by a grant from the California Department of Housing and Community Development. Special thanks to all the staff throughout the region that made Solano ADU possible.
